Malco SRC24A Channel Shear

The Malco Channel Shear is a powerful and efficient tool for cutting through drywall metal studs and runners. The SRC24A model is equipped with a single die assembly with 3 channel sizes, allowing it to cut through 1-5/8", 2-1/2", and 3-5/8" (41, 64, 92 mm) studs and matching runners. The unique die assembly ensures a clean and precise cut without deforming the channel shape.

This shear features a hollow-ground, guillotine style, hardened steel blade that maintains its cutting edge for a long time and can be easily re-sharpened or replaced. The compound head to handle linkage and a 36" handle length provide additional leverage, making cutting through galvanized steel 20 gauge channel up to .040" (1.02 mm) almost effortless. The ergonomically correct operation is completed with thick vinyl handle grips.

The lightweight and portable design of the Channel Shear allows it to be easily transported to wherever it is needed. Additionally, it features a handle clamp for easy carrying or storage. The rugged all-steel construction ensures a long and dependable service life.
