The work of bulkier and more expensive punches is done faster and easier with this tool. It can be used overhead to pre-punch rivet holes in suspended ceiling grids or for making holes in window extrusions, metal ductwork, or sheet stock in any edge application. With compound leverage, it provides a mechanical advantage of 8 to 1 with just one hand. The handles have a spring return feature, enabling quick set-up for repetitive tasks.

This tool comes with a pre-installed 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) punch and die, as well as a 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) punch and die assembly. Separate punch and die assemblies are available, including sizes such as 3.6, 4.1, and 6.3 mm. The tool steel punches and dies can be easily changed or replaced when needed.

To ensure easy hole placement, a stop gauge allows adjustments of the tool throat depth from 1/4 to 1-1/8 inches (6.4 to 28.6 mm). The tool body is made of lightweight die-cast aluminum "C" frame head, while the handles and parts stampings are made of hardened steel with a rust-resistant nickel plating for long service life.

This tool has a maximum capacity of 24 gauge for up to 2 layers. The 1/8" and 3/16" punches and dies can be easily interchanged. It also features a red vinyl cushion grip for added comfort.
