The Malco C5R Crimper is used for downsizing stove pipe and round metal duct to create a male connection for joining sections. With its five blades, this versatile hand tool produces a 1-5/8 inch (41.28 mm) long, shallow, double crimp that replicates factory indentations and ensures a tight fitting, leak-proof connection. The connection is also more self-supporting during installation, thanks to the handle closing stop that maintains a consistent crimp. Additionally, the hardened all-steel construction and nickel chrome finish ensure a long service life. The ergonomic RedLine Handle technology features an engineered handle opening that compliments the natural power stroke of any user's hand and maximizes the powerful 7:1 mechanical advantage of compound-leverage head to handle linkage. The comfortable handle grip contours, non-slip grip insert, spring handle actuation, and thumb-operated handle latch ensure a natural fit and feel for comfortable one-handed operation anywhere on the job.
