The premier choice for bending, folding, flattening, and straightening sheet metal edges or safely gripping and moving sheet metal around the job site, the Malco S2R 3-inch hand seamers with forged steel jaws are suitable for all metal trades, including HVACR installation, roofing and siding applications, and commercial building and remodeling. These seamers feature drop-forged, high-impact jaws with depth markings graduated in 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) increments, complimented by a powerful compound leverage design. The seamers can easily bend flanges or completely flatten seams from 1/4 to 1-1/4 inch (6.4-31.8 mm) deep in 24 gauge (0.71 mm) galvanized or (0.61 mm) mild steel. Additionally, they are equipped with Malco's Redline Handles, maximizing the powerful leverage of compound head-to-handle linkage while providing a more comfortable operating range for your hand. The ergonomic handle contours with an over-molded, non-slip handle insert assure a natural fit and feel for the way you work, allowing for easy one-hand operation. The seamers also feature a soft touch, non-slip handle insert with a unique one-hand operation latch, making them easy to use. The jaws are drop forged, high-impact steel, and the precise vee-notched depth graduations on the jaws are in 1/4 in. (6.4 mm) increments.
